banana choc chip muffin recipe.
Get ready for the weekend with the perfect snack to use up those bananas sat on your counter.

Serves: 8 muffins
ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
70g butter
50g caster sugar
1 egg
190g self-raising flour
1tsp baking powder
1 tbsp plain yoghurt
100g chocolate chips
method.
Step 1:
Heat oven to 190 (170 fan oven). In bowl, mix the butter (melted), sugar and egg. Whisk together then in a separate bowl, mash the banana with the back of a fork. Add to the mixture and mix.
Step 2:
Add the flour and baking powder and mix until the mixture is slightly stiff. Add the yoghurt to loosen up the mixture, then add the chocolate chips.
Step 3:
Spoon the mixture evenly into muffin or cake cases and place in the oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Best served warm!
